Profile - Live out the Catholic Works of Mercy in assisting needy people with food, shelter, and utilities in the spirit of Saint Vincent de Paul.
- Learn about the many resources available in our area for the needy among us and use these resources to accomplish the Mission of St. Vincent DePaul
- Work with people to ensure their basic needs are met, uplift the dignity and respect of each person, and bring a spiritual aspect such as prayer and help for any pastoral needs.
- Maintain our parish’s emergency food pantry
- Help with other general charitable events, such as the Bundle Weekend, Holiday Food Distribution, and Christmas Gifts.
- Participate in the activities of the larger Society of Saint Vincent DePaul

Who can join? - Adults
- Older teens, young adults can help, with supervision
How do I join? - Call the Parish Office at 708-597-3180
Who leads the ministry? - Parishioners
Will I be trained? - An orientation period where you work with another member serves as training
- Formation in St. Vincent de Paul spirituality
Are there meetings? - Yes, once a month
- Meetings with clients, as needed
What is my time investment? - Time involved will fluctuate depending upon many variables
- Several hours per month but many volunteers maintain full time jobs while also serving in this ministry
